LEGAL CONSULTANCY AGREEMENT

This Legal Consultancy Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on this ___ day of ________, 20, by and between:

WHEREAS, the Client desires to engage the Consultant to provide legal advice and consultancy services; and
WHEREAS, the Consultant agrees to provide such services under the terms and conditions set forth herein.

1. Scope of Services

The Consultant shall provide legal consultancy in the following areas (select or customize):

• Civil and Criminal Litigation

• Family Law Matters

• Contract Drafting and Review

• Business and Corporate Law

• Property Disputes

• Legal Documentation

• Court Appearances (if applicable)

• Any other services as mutually agreed in writing

2. Fees and Payment Terms

• The Client agrees to pay the Consultant a retainer fee of Rs./$ _________ (if applicable).

• Additional services shall be charged at Rs./$ _________ per hour / per appearance / per document (choose one).

• All fees are payable in advance or as per mutually agreed schedule.

• Government fees, court filing charges, or third-party costs shall be borne separately by the Client.

3. Term and Termination

• This Agreement shall be valid from the date of signing until terminated by either party with 15 days’ prior written notice.

• The Consultant may terminate this Agreement with immediate effect if the Client engages in illegal activity or breaches the terms herein.

4. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep all matters, documents, and communications strictly confidential and not to disclose any information to third parties without written consent, unless required by law.

5. Consultant’s Responsibilities

• Provide honest, professional, and timely legal advice.

• Represent the Client’s best interests within the legal framework.

• Keep the Client informed about material developments in their matter.

6. Client’s Responsibilities

• Provide complete and accurate information.

• Cooperate fully with the Consultant.

• Make timely payments for all services rendered.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — e.g., Pakistan / Punjab / UAE / etc.] and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of [City/District].

8. Entire Agreement

This document constitutes the full and complete agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior oral or written communications.
